Information Collection and Use by Third Parties

While using any Impec Group site, you are asked to provide certain personal data that can be used to contact or identify you. Types of personal data may include, but not limited to your name and email address.  

Impec Group may gather information about you: 

  • When you fill out the contact form on our website, you are asked for information such as your name and email address so Impec Group can communicate with you regarding your questions or concerns. 
  • When you click on our LinkedIn sponsored advertisement and fill out a Lead Generation form, Impec Group asks for the information provided in your LinkedIn profile as well as your email. This information is stored by LinkedIn for 90 days for us to download the information. More information can be found on LinkedIn’s Lead Gen Form Privacy Policy here.  
  • Impec Group may use your Personal Information to contact you for our LinkedIn InMail campaigns.  Measures are taken to ensure your information remains confidential for the bulk InMail campaigns. 
  • The Impec Group website is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.  

Impec Group uses your personal information obtained from other sources to provide you with information about our services, and for marketing purposes to ensure that our content is tailored to your needs and interests. For these purposes, Impec Group may need to share your information with our service providers and agents. In the event of a merger, sale or reorganization Impec Group is required to transfer personal information to a third party involved in such a process.  

Log Data for Analytics

Like many site operators, Impec Group collects information that your browser sends whenever you visit our Site. Collected log data may include information such as your computer’s browser type, browser version, the pages of our site that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages and other statistics. This information is collected, monitored and analyzed by third party services such as Google Analytics and LinkedIn Insight Tag to aid in marketing efforts.  

The LinkedIn Insight Tag allows us to collect information about website visitors such as the URL, referrer, IP address, device and browser characteristics and timestamp, but this personal data is not shared with us directly but rather through reports. For more information about how LinkedIn uses their data, please view their privacy policy here.  

Impec Group monitors customer traffic and website usage to continually improve our website design, layout and content to provide relevant content for you. 

Can you opt out of cookies/personal information usage with a DNT request?  

A Do Not Track (DNT) request regulates the Internet industry by having Internet users control the tracking of their online activities across websites using browser settings. You can opt out of cookies yourself in the ways discussed below.

Lastly, Impec Group uses Wix as a third-party website platform in which users cannot currently opt-out of Wix cookies. As Wix functionality does not support opt-out features, Impec Group does not respond to DNT requests.  However, there is a poll to make Wix cookie opt-out a feature, which you can vote on here.

Cookies are files with small amount of data, which may include an anonymous unique identifier. Cookies are sent to your browser from a website and stored on your computer’s hard drive. 

Like many sites, Impec Group uses “cookies” to collect information. As is the case for all cookies, Impec Group cannot access those tracking parameters established by social networks, just as those social networks cannot access cookies set by Impec Group.  

How secure is the website?
